    To prevent recurrence of nasal contracture, we completely remove the fibrous capsule inside the nose and perform surgery using only autologous tissues, such as dermis or autologous cartilage, instead of artificial implants.

    After removing the problematic tissues causing contracture and extending the separated soft tissue, we use autologous tissue (not implants) to sufficiently lengthen the shortened nasal tip.

    Since contracture weakens and deforms the inner support structures of the nose, we restore them by using strong autologous rib cartilage to provide durable structural support.

  • 1. Removal of Implant, Capsule, and Inflammatory Tissue

    At Chamin, contracted nose surgery does not simply
    remove the implant but also removes the capsule and inflammatory tissue
    formed around it to prevent recurrence of contracture.

  • 2. Release of scar tissue and adhesions

    Scar tissue, adhered cartilage, and contracted soft tissue are carefully
    released one by one. The nasal tip’s skin tissue is adequately loosened
    and lowered     to correct the hardened and shortened tip.

  • 3. Harvesting and grafting autologous rib cartilage

    Autologous rib cartilage, known for its strong support and durability,
    is harvested, sculpted to fit, and grafted. This prevents contracture
    recurrence and forms a solid support structure.

  • 4. Composite skin graft

    In cases of severe skin contraction or
    significant damage, Chamin performs composite skin
    grafting to repair and restore the deficient areas.
